Symantha Dawson

I'm Symantha. I am a Career Advisor for the Health and Behavioral Sciences at the University Career Center. I am one of the go-to folks for pre-health students exploring career pathways and preparing for professional programs health careers. I also teach several courses related to careers in health professions at KU. 

My background is in medical anthropology, so I like asking big, complicated questions about health, humans, and culture. I love language learning and traveling. I would like to see all the world has to offer. I am an avid reader and I dabble in fiction writing. In my spare time, I like to watch goofy TV shows and movies or be outside and active.
