2017 Closing the Gap: Salary Negotiation Skills for Women

Closing the Gap, April 4th, 5:30 p.m., The Commons

Did you know that on average, women must work through 2016 and into mid-April of 2017 to make the same amount of money that men earned in 2016 alone? Statistically, women of color would have to work even longer: Black women until August, Indigenous women until September, and Latina women until November of the following year.

Join the KU Career Services Alliance and The Emily Taylor Center for Gender Equity to learn about salary equity issues from a panel of experienced professionals and develop salary negotiation skills. Light refreshments will be provided!
