Biography —

I'm Symantha. I am an Assistant Director and Health Professions Career Coach at the University Career Center. I am one of the go-to folks for prehealth students and career exploration.

Education —

B.S. in Medical Anthropology, University of West Georgia, Carrollton, GA

M.A. in Medical Anthropology, University of Kansas

Teaching —

College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Health Professions

Creative Works —

My background is in medical anthropology, so I like asking big complicated questions about health, humans, and cultures. I love language learning and traveling. I would like to see all the world has to offer. I am an avid reader and I dabble in fiction writing. In my spare time, I like to watch trashy TV and movies, going hiking or rock-climbing, or relaxing with a game (video or board).
