Stacey Pope

Hi, I’m Stacey. I recently returned to Lawrence after spending the last ten years in France teaching English to graduate and undergraduate students. I believe in facilitating learning through kindness, support, and empowerment. As an advisor, I love helping students explore careers that would align with their values, make use of the skills that come naturally to them, and bring them joy. It’s all about listening, asking the right questions, and breaking things down into manageable goals. 

In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, hiking in the woods, drinking tea in the sunshine, cooking veggie meals, and listening to film podcasts!
